HYPERHIDROSIS
(Anti-Sweat Injections)

Botulinum toxin also known as Botox can be used to treat Hyperhidrosis, a Medical Term for Excessive Sweating. This refers to those people who continue to sweat when it is not hot and often through their clothes. Botox has been approved by the FDA to treat this condition by injecting the underarms. It works by temporarily paralyzing the nerves to stop the signals to the sweat glands

Botox should only be administered by an experienced medical clinician who will ensure the correct amount is placed proportionately in the right areas to ensure the desired effect is achieved. We only use FDA approved products such as Botox and Bocouture.  The amount of correction required, lifestyle and severity of the condition will all vary the longevity results and results of treatment. Once injected, it can take up to 2 weeks for the results to take place and last for around 5-9 months.
